Tony C's comic relief track is to be re-named 'Is this the way to make a fortune...' following the release of his album.

Words fail me in describing the latest "I'm doing it for charity, make me rich" contender, but i'll try:

Greedy, big haired, talentless fu(kwit!

Sorry dude. No way. If you think Tony Christie is talentless, what must you make of today's crop of singers? At least the fella can sing in key and with gusto (or at least could when he cut his records several decades ago).

He was shite then and he is now, could be sold as a new 'organic' sleeping pill!

The only reason he's still about is motherfu(ker Kay, some marketing plebs and the nations love of 'donating' eleven quid for an album non of which goes to chariddy!

You have yet to hear some of today's sh1te offerings I can only assume:
Nelly;
D12;
Usher;
Mis-teeq;
Enrique Iglesias. On the subject of greasy spick singing sensations, I wonder if any other readers have noticed his propensity to croak his way through songs in a "breathy" manner? This "technique" has also been adopted by the likes of Westlife and Britney Spears and requires little or no singing talent whatsoever. It suits them down to the ground obviously.

The fact that there is competing shite out there doesn't make TC any less a nuisance - there are many shit cars available to buy this doesn't stop Ford's being w@nk!

Irrespective of his talent compared to modern singers I just want to say that its all right for Peter Kay and all those other under 40 arseholes who did not have to put up with this dross first time round.What about those of use 50 somethings who are still recovering from Tony Blackburn playing it originally every 5 minutes on Radio 1 .
What next a charity version of Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep

I'm not sure how much money Tony C is going to make from this.
It was actually WRITTEN by Neil Sedaka who owns the rights to the song :? .

Yes and apparently Mr Sedaka has also donated his royalties to Comic Relief.
