Re: Archie Battersbee

She should pay compo to the hospital for all the additional costs they have incurred, fighting this pointless case.

Re: Archie Battersbee

O.K. I put my hands up. If, as you have explained, the Mother was not given false hope then she should have been made aware of all the potential outcomes; if she had been, then she is opining on a subject with which she has no knowledge or experience and is choosing to substitute personal opinion f...

Re: Archie Battersbee

Common sense says that the kindest act would be to turn the life machine off however Archies mother is fighting for her son and will accept a 1% chance of recovery to keep the life support machine on,so, IMO , there is no right or wrong answer just a deep sadness for all concerned . I think this wo...

Re: The Bristol Four

So you think these stupid individuals should be remanded AT OUR EXPENSE for two years when they have done no harm to anyone? If the punishment fitted the crime they should be penalised financially. Why were they not fined for wasting Police time? Yes I do think they should be locked up, it sends a ...

Re: The Bristol Four

They should all get at least two years, what kind of message are we giving these brain dead vandals?
It opens the floodgates for others just as stupid as these four to do the same and think they can get away with it.

Re: Boris is going.

His demise could not happen to a more deserving poltroon imo I think he did a good job with Covid given the time he had to react and get things moving. He also got us out of the EU that is why he was elected plus the Corbyn factor helped him gain Labour voters. He took on a poisoned chalice as PM, ...

Re: Boris is going.

Boris was popular, not sure that is true now. The media have seen to that, without doubt, they targeted him from day one. All politicians lie and mislead the public, his Partygate antics were reported in such a way by the media to alienate the public towards him. How many times did they interview so...

Re: London Pride

I do not have a problem with anyone's sexuality, Gays as they like to be called have been around as long as mankind. The ones that boil my piss are the transgender fraternity who expect to be converted to another gender on the NHS, this is wrong in my opinion. The NHS is already at breaking point wh...

Re: The Honourable Member for the 18th century.

I think Members of Parliament should be prepared to stand up and be counted. There exists a culture of self interest in Government which gives all Parliamentarians a bad name. Even if standing up to be counted means you are no longer in your job because you disagree with the party leader, that is t...

Re: The Honourable Member for the 18th century.

What I would like to know is how MPs can get away with having a secret ballot. When a Candidate is elected by the Public it needs to be by secret ballot but once they are elected they have nailed their colours to the mast - so to speak - and in my opinion are duty bound to make clear if they suppor...

Re: The Honourable Member for the 18th century.

But you don't vote for PM at a GE, you vote for your constituent MP. I agree with your comments about crossing the floor but if a governing party is prohibited from changing its leader mid-parliament then the same restriction would have to apply to all partys. I know you don't vote for a PM at a GE...

Re: Chilli with everything

I only have one food allergy, and that is cooked green peppers, I'm okay with red, yellow or orange peppers but those green buggers have me throwing up all night long. it starts off with chronic stomach acid followed by vomiting, I was okay with them until around 18 years ago. Over time it has becom...

I agree with you 100%. My favourite part was the airborne drone light display, consisting of 700 drones all computer controlled it was quite stunning. As an ex serviceman I did get an invite to be there on Friday, No way would I travel all the way to London to suffer all that shite, wild horses woul...
