Hello,

A number of suggestions to improve the board…

a) Update to the latest version of phpBB which is 2.0.15 and offers performance and security benefits.
b) There is a ‘mod’ which allows attachments (pictures, Word documents, etc.) in posts so you can add a picture from your PC instead of uploading it to the Internet and then linking it. Can we have this please?
c) There is also an intelligent swear filter ‘mod’ which Enhances the built in Word Censor to block most loopholes users can use to get around censors. Character substitution, letter spacing, and BBCode tricks no longer work to thwart censors. While I personally don’t believe that we need a censor, this upgrade could remove some of the ‘global’ blocks that cause so many rents on the board.

Believe me, if you were sitting at the end of a long thin piece of Internet string like me you’d welcome any performance enhancements! :)

Also, if a hacker did get into the site, rhubarb it up and steal everybody’s e-mail address for spamming purposes I’d imagine you’d think rather differently about a five minute free software upgrade. :?
