Nothing wrong with Baycliff, fantastic views directly across the Bay from all 4 Bay windows at the front of the house. Don't fancy it in winter though.: shock:

So a quiet little gathering then?

I got here ahead of you, and tucked into a nice Macon the other evening and a visit to the local farm produced a rather good bottle of Calvados. Mmm… Mellow. (Me not the Calvados)
Back early September myself, see you on the 10/11th... Bon Voyage!

Looks good to me, count me in, did Boo say she was not coming, :(
Boo please reconsider, a weekend away will perk you up, also you get to throw things at Berek, what fun.

The big question though, is, will TDA bring or arrange to meet with Miss D and if not why not?

There are a few down that way i would love to beat with a haggis....

Did Berek have a good break?

Is Mrs Berek recovering, having beaten half of Italy into submission?

Will young Berek Jr. survive the trauma of having to set his mum on his opponents mum, as his dad could not be arsed to pile in?

All these and many other questions will be asked (and hopefully answered) on the 10th or 11th September.

 I don't own any thermals, do you think I should get some ? Still sweltering over here in France till the end of the month, it's a hard life but someone has to do it.

How is the code in the dose (that's what you get from travelling on those airplane thingies, that or worse...)

Nope, hot 28/29, dry and sunny  and the same is forecast until at least Saturday.

Wonderful smell of freshly cut grass:), aching back from cutting it :? , still only doing about one acre now, around our house and the holiday accommodation, as we have friends visiting from Spain who came to escape the heat 8) , have left the other 4 acres for another time, have not even walked down to the river yet and been here for over 2 weeks now. Did discover a few new moorhens on the lake though, in amongst the water lilies.
