It has been suggested that we arrange a get together upon the anniversary of our creation on Saturday 5th November 2005 for all GOM and GOW.

We are suggesting a centrally located venue in the Midlands, we can look at regional events in the future if this is popular. We are trying to get a celebrity speaker, any contacts for this would be useful. Cost is a factor here.

To that end we are proposing the following

Date:Saturday 5th November at 7:30

Venue: Kilworth House http://www.kilworthhouse.co.uk

Cost: £85 per person per night accomodation only, breakfast extra
plus £34 per person for a set evening meal plus £5 per person for the room, drinks extra

If you are interested in attending please vote.

A £50 non refundable deposit will be payable per person attending, when we book, (within the next week or so).

This can be paid via our gift shop on any major credit card, we will add a booking item in the shop for this function when we proceed with the booking.

Please note this is an "at cost" only function, we are taking no profit from these costs.

The extra fiver for the room is so that we can have private dining and not have to mix with middle managers from Accenture or Deloitte Touche bragging about their villas in Tuscany whilst on a "Leveraging Stakeholder Value" weekend? Or is because Berek is coming?

count me in. Make it a black tie affair. No nike trainers. Or Burberry.

Same here, cannot make the 5th November, prior commitments, as already mentioned ages ago, when the 5th was first mooted. Sorry all, especially Maelstrom, & Haddock, and Cyprus Grump (doubt if he will come all the way from Cyprus in November though.) I would have loved to have met up with my joint winners.

Bugger I have a rather fetching Burberry sequinned evening gown that matches my diamante wellies perfectly, back to the drawing board it is then  .

The extra fiver is for both of the above reasons. :D

You may rest assured that, unlike the Albanian staff there, I DO wash my hands after taking a dump. And I don't spit in the soup. Or rub my knob cheese on the soup spoons.

Cancel my booking. If there's no knob cheese board then it's not a proper dinner!

Only joking. wouldn't miss this punch up for the world!

No veggie main course! Is this to make doubly sure Adolf Hitler and Osama bin Thingy don't turn up? Now they were real A list grumps.

Unfortunately I’ll not be attending.

As soon as the lonelier among you have parted with your deposits (so to speak) Dawn and Steve will inform you that they have signed a deal with Channel 5 to film the evening’s events. It will be billed as “Hardcore Grumps putting the world to rights, without a care for political correctness or polite society. No topic is taboo, peeling back the skin and telling it straight.â€
