Excellent stuff. "Ye Olde Trip" under Nottingham castle.

SP - Open to suggestions for timing. Can I suggest 16th or 17th of September? Most people should have returned from their Summer Hols by then.

Errrr,OK I will see if I can hang around the lakes for a few days after the 10/11 and catch you lot on the way back down. 16th 0r 17th sounds fine.

Would Friday 23rd Sept be more suitable for everybody then?
(Forgot that some may want to go to both events, and trying to keep it to a Friday for Simon.)

I don’t' think I would want to invite myself to stay for 2 weeks so that would mean having to go home and come back. Until dates are firm I am not going to ask if I can stay over in Ulverstone, and I guess we are waiting for The Devil's Advocate to return from Egypt before Berek confirms the Northern one, so pick a date to suit you locals and I will fit in. Anything after September 2nd is good.

If as you say you are local Haddock, and you know the location of this pub have a look around for a Hotel/Motel within staggering distance? Ta.

Dawn, sorry... how could I have missed you off the register.

Boo, you will always be welcome. I'll send you the photos of the first meet. I'd hang on before committing to the next one until you've seen them. (I've met SimonJolly already...decidedly dodgey but don't tell him I told you, Nick was OK apart from the tatooes and the three fights he started  )

He's promised not to wear his pope outfit this time round, I think that was part of the problem.

For anyone a bit concerned by Haddock's avatar I can confirm he doesn't have the beard in real life and the smell of fish is easily ignored.

Yes it is Nick. We will stick to Friday 16th Sept. Appologies to anyone who can't make it then but we need a fixed time. We will go for 8.30pm to give Simon time to put his makeup on and meet at the Trip. Suggest anybody that wants a hotel uses the Ramada Jarvis at J25 of the M1 (Long Eaton), I will meet up with everyone there and use taxi to the trip. Drinks in the bar at 7pm sharp.

Look forward to seeing you again Nick.
H.

Hotel looks fine so if you are sure this is on and the 16th is a frimd date, I will book in.

Please confirm.

No news on the 10/11 up north and I have an invite to stay the week in Ulverston, Bugger.

Still this will be just half the distance. Count me in.
