Right! After a brief discussion at the Nottingham meet post-mortem, none of us know what the hell you are talking about here. Please expand?

I'm so glad it just wasn't me being stupid.

Simon, did you notice that it was a "Mobile Free Pub"? Haven't seen one of those before, what happens if your phone rings and you answer it???

Mine actually rang for the first time this week whilst we were there and I pressed random buttons through my pocket lining until it went quiet.

According to their website, you get tied to the railway tracks for an hour or so if you answer it.

I don't like the idea of looking like Nicks penny! Think I'll leave the phone in the car next time.

Ummm! I had sorta forgot about that

Well! It's like this see...

As the GoMMeet preceded a weekend we were a long way from home and bored - as you are - and we thought we would go look at Sherwood Forest.

I haven't been there since - uh - a long time ago! when I could actually clamber inside of that big old oak!

And as it happened, we are fairly proud of our shooting skills so we decided to 'av a bash wiv a bow n'arrow and see how it went.

Predictably, :D we did rather well with only the very first shot missing the centre target and quickly became bored with it and so gaining some extra gratis shafts from the tutor, he then invited us to aim at something more challanging.

Well! There was this little bear nearby - and you know the rest.

But SP shot a squirrel! As they had been the topic of interest on here recently the poor little bugger was considered fair game. And as SP said in all fairness, it was a much smaller (and faster) target.

I suppose I must admit now that the bear was actually made of polystyrene and therefore quite slow, but I did manage three shots in the heart and two in the shoulder. SP was, of course using a digital telephoto. :( but at least can prove the shooting skill.

OK?
