Why this was moved to 'Pedants Forum' from 'Off Topic Jokes & Cartoons' is best known to whoever moved it, but thanks, now I have the chance to be really pedantic and advise the OP that he spelled plimsolls incorrectly.

I moved it Elvis. You really cannot help yourself, can you?
By the way "plimsole" and "plimsoll" are both acceptable according to the OED.
Quote:
plimsoll (also plimsole) n. Brit. a light rubber-soled canvas sports shoe. origin prob. from the resemblance of the side of the sole to a Plinsoll line

Both appear to be pedantic comments, but as with mine, they were meant to be amusing, which is to be expected in a Jokes forum?

Edit: There is no entry in my OED for plimsole, but I admit that it's a bit old, although nowhere near as old as plimsolls.
