As previously announced, magog’s winner for Caption Competition #424 was Jethro for the following caption:

Little Girl: The Arctic circle line, is over there!

I would be grateful therefore if Jethro could select the winner of this competition when it ceases to be a 'Sticky' and would appreciate it if his winner does the same the following week.Ta.

This week’s picture features a cow in a supermarket during one of the recent Farmers milk price protests.

This is what happens when you build on all the greenfield sites.

The first example of Dave Cameron's (we'll do all we can) alternative to halal meat hits the shelves.

Farmer explaining:

Yep, I'm so proud of our Daisy here, she just dropped a steaming pile this wide right outside the Manager's door.

Bloke assumed to be the Shop Manager:

"This is our new Management initiative. Cut out the farming middleman completely and be able to supply fresh milk on tap as it were at any time at lower cost to the consumer. Also, we will always have copious stocks of compost. In our view the cow's a no brainer".

... and this is Gary Panjabi reporting live from Morrisons where the Billericay branch of MENSA is attempting to prove its theory you can force a gallon of milk back into a cow...
