GCHQ the only part of the government that actually listens to the people.

I think that technically the U S equivalent of GCHQ is not the CIA but the NSA - National Security Agency. If you work there NSA stands for "Never Say Anything" - to outsiders NSA stands for "No Such Agency" - ultra ultra hush hush!!

As a result of this post I wonder if I and our august forum will be on their watch list as "dangerous subversives" from now on?

Having seen the quality of "debate" between our potential leaders recently, I suggest there should be an extra line on every Ballot Paper ;

Military Coup X

... I would consider giving it my vote.

These so called " Leaders' debates" are nothing of the sort and the t.v. presenters seem determined to not give the politicians enough time to give a considered answer to any of their questions. All there is time for is a throw away line or "sound bite",

I became quite grumpy!

So Labour want to return to the 1970's.

In 1973, the Birmingham Evening Mail had six pages of property to rent adverts, so students like me had plenty of choice. In 1974, the Labour Government brought in rent controls and 'protected' rights for tenants. By 1975, there was half a column of ads as the market fell apart. The Labour Government of Wilson/Callaghan had decimated the rental market by stacking the odds against landlords.

Be prepared for Corbyn to decimate the buy to let market.

I see that Tony B.Liar has today accused the major parties of "peddling fantasies." To, once again, quote Bartholomew J. Simpson, "Oh, the ironing."

I haven't watched any of these 'leaders debates' and for the sake of my own blood pressure, I have no intentions on doing so either. I'm interested in hearing politics and policy - rather than petty squabbling from what appears to be a school playground.

Corbyn's Labour would be a disaster for this country. Both economically (for all) and socially for British people of which they have no respect or tolerance for.

The Tories seem to be little improvement over 'New' Labour which most here had long since had enough of a decade ago. As I've said before, I like Boris as a character but I've never felt he's been strong enough for the PM role. Without a pact with Farage, I'm struggling to see how Boris can win a majority at the moment.

Don't even start me on either the non-Liberal non-democrats or the Greens. If either of those start jumping on board with Labour, I dread to even think what nightmare scenarios they'll be dreaming up together.

The one certain thing in today's politics is that whatever is in the manifesto can be reneged upon once reaching control of government.
I am still undecided how to vote - Do I write 'drain the swamp' across the ballot paper or a willie next to the most deserving candidate?

I shall probably vote for the Conservatives. At least they will not cap my rents, or give my hard earned money to druggies, single mum slappers, and the workshy. If I need a hip op I can afford to have it done at Spire.

The only up side of the election is the steady flow of paper for our log burner.

If this is all that we have [in terms of political talent] on offer, then we are truly sodomized as a nation.

The catering team at our office would make a more credible national government than any of the cretins offering their services at the current hustings. I say that because they [the catering team] are a diverse group of experienced people, delivering an excellent service.

I look forward with anticipation to the Chicken Noodle Soup at tomorrow's lunch.

That is all - Hindmost out.

These TV debates seem to be about who can or can't be trusted with the keys to No.10. Who do we believe?

As I see it, the trouble with Boris Johnson is that you can't believe what he says.

On the other hand, the trouble with Jeremy Corbyn is that you probably can.
