Seems pretty clear to me, we're talking 24 to 72 hour loans, not trying to underpin a long term position. So reasonable to charge 4 figure interest rates then to cover the admin imho.

And to adapt a known phrase "a fool and other people's money are even sooner parted" so WW have to protect for that.

It was a trading name for Cavendish Finance which I believe has ties with Nomura, so I cannot see any actual losses being pinned on the parent company.
