Ensconced NNB perhaps??

Bought a 'Neostar' 5 litre hot water dispenser in Dec 2016. Sunday morning at silly o'clock it discharged its entire contents onto the worktop and kitchen floor.

Emailed seller - Scott's of Stowe, who in short told me to piss off - only guaranteed 12 months.

Eh?? I thought leccy goods were 2 years min.

Google is yer friend and I sent this to them:

" A spokeswoman for the DTI says: "There is a common misunderstanding that the EU Directive requires a two-year guarantee to be given, but that is not the case. UK law in practice provides better protection for consumers than the two-year minimum required by the EU - consumers are able to pursue relevant claims for up to six years (five in Scotland)."

Dippy, wojureckon??

Yrs, Slightly damp of eastern England.
