Do not buy a leasehold flat.

Post by D P Dance »

I am selling one on my investment properties but it is stalled at the moment because the freeholder is refusing to provide information which my buyer's solicitor insists they need.

I pay my ground rent, (£200 pa) to my lanlord, a Housing Association, monthly along with the service charge. Apparently the HA have npt passed this to the freeholder, Homeground,

and thus the impasse.

I have lodged a formal complaint against the HA, MTVHA

But this takes time to resolve.
