In a recent statement from her, she's said that the Middle East crisis has made clear, "the only lasting way out of the fossil dependency is to modernize" by shifting to green energy and "electrifying the economy as rapidly as possible." So in response to the EU/their problem caused by insufficient development of hydrocarbon resources, their plan is to further reduce development of hydrocarbon resources.
Now, correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't she a minister in the German Government that decided to dismantle Germany's nuclear power plants? Top quality designed power plants, but on a whim her government administration decided it would virtue-signal without any proper review. Solar and wind are very low in output/km² compared to fossil fuels.
To me, this sounds like little more than paving the way to move huge amounts of taxpayers money into the coffers of their globalist masters. I guess the EU (and us, no doubt) can only look forward to their economies tanking farther and their energy prices continue to sky rocket.
The Middle East Crisis has made this clear to me - the only lasting solution is to remove power from the deep state.
