I have just been informed by my niece that she has lost her personalised plate.
Apparently, it only lasts for a few years if not assigned to a vehicle.
She missed out by a month or two, due to the reminders going to an old address.
Apparently, she can't have it, nobody else can have it, it's gone, forever.
How much revenue would be raised if people could be reunited with their plates?
Or if these thousands of plates returned to the market?
A single parliamentary stroke of the pen would probably raise - well, a lot of money.

Tolerance is a set allowance that ensures a good fit and smooth running. Any more tolerance and things get sloppy or don't work at all.
We live in a very, very tolerant society already.
