Reshuffle
Things must be pretty dire for Sunak to bring Cameron back.
I have posted before that Cameron is wholly accountable for two major foul ups ;
1. The Edinburgh Agreement - no defined limit of time, leaving us with the current neverendum for the SNP to bleat about, and major constitutional change on a simple majority.
2. Brexit Referendum - again, major change on a simple majority.
... then of course there's the pig.
To be fair though, the Johnson administration did inspire the best Spitting Image Cabinet in my opinion, which is a small plus.

That's democracy for you.
What would you rather have happened? A minority victory which disenfranchises the majority?

Re: Reshuffle
Sunak had to make sure the front pages were not all about Suella Braverman.
In bringing back Cameron he succeeded in that objective.
That's how shallow politics are now.

Isn't there a statue of Maggie somewhere he could call on?

Re: Reshuffle
Perhaps they could hold a seance at the next Cabinet meeting?

Of little interest, I know a Ron Oates who is related to the famous antarctic explorer. At work he was forever having his leg pulled about him going outside and being gone for some time.Rudolf Hart wrote: ↑Tue Nov 14, 2023 6:07 pm ........or even a statue of Lawrence Oates?

Re: Reshuffle
So we now have "Lord" Cameron back in the fold.
Who next?
Boris Johnson?
(He would also have to be elevated to the House of Luds to get back as an unelected Government Minister)

Re: Reshuffle
The UK media have made sure at the next election Labour will win, whatever changes Sunak made to his cabinet after removing yet another useless Tory Home Secretary from office the media would be doing a hatchet job on him. Cameron never had the backbone to remove May from the job, he achieved the square root of bugger all during his leadership so what could he possibly bring to the table in the foreign office job. It seems we are fooked whoever gets elected at the next GE. The Tories have lost the plot, and Labour will bring us back to the same old 70s politics. You only have to hear Rayner the ex-carehome arse wiper, spouting her own special brand of lefty bullshit to see what is to come when Labour wins the next election. God help the economy and the country.

Re: Reshuffle
Is Sunak getting smaller? Every time I see him he seems to have shrunk a bit more.
Perhaps he will eventually disappear altogether?

His trousers are still way too short, His jackets and shirts always look too tight and recent footage of his overcoat just look creepy.

Re: Reshuffle
Perhaps he would be better advised changing his Taylor rather than his Cabinet.?
This reshuffle is a pointless exercise and about as useful as rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.
